I took out the cherries, drained them, then put 50 g of sugar on them and let them drain again. If they are frozen, let them thaw easily.

I beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt.

I rubbed the yolks with 150 g of sugar until they became a thick cream. I added vanilla sugar and essence.

In a larger bowl I mixed the cream yolks with the beaten egg whites, baking powder, 100 g breadcrumbs and 50 g flour. I mixed the composition well.

For baking I used a cake tray. I lined it with baking paper, put the cake composition in it, then added the cherries mixed with 2-3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs.

I put the tray in the oven on low heat for 25 minutes. Check with a toothpick if the cake is ready.

When it was ready, I took the tray out of the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then I took the cake out of the mold and turned it upside down, with the cherries on top.

I cut it into slices and served it with creamy ice cream on top :)
